Although the Food Centre is currently closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are still running our Start-up sessions as usual online, to ensure that all businesses are still receiving the high level of support that the centre offers.
Online Start-up Sessions include:
The sessions are designed to be interactive to enable you to ask questions. It starts with a presentation explaining our services, the help available and how you can benefit from Project HELIX.
This session also includes the addition of a special summary of the Top biggest food and drink trends Post COVID-19 identified by The Food People, which will help to see what opportunities and new markets that you can take advantage of in the future.
Representative from Cywain and Business Wales will also be joining the session and will give a brief overview of support available.
This is followed by a virtual tour of the Innovation & Manufacturing Hub at Food Centre Wales, especially for those who are looking to process at the facility.
Following the session, the Food Technologists will be available to offer a 1-2-1 private meeting either via Skype or phone. You also have the opportunity to speak to a Business Adviser from Business Wales and a Business Development Manager from Cywain.

The Start-up Surgery is free to attend and starts at 10am, allowing up to 2 hours for the session.
The 1-2-1 meetings with Food Technologists are not included in this time, so you would need to allow time for that afterwards.
